NEW ORLEANS, La. — Tennessee Tech remained in fourth place through two rounds of the Gulf Coast Collegiate on Monday, posting a team score of 312 (+24) at English Turn Golf and Country Club.
The Golden Eagles sit at 625 (+49) through 36 holes, four shots behind third-place St. John's. Augusta leads the 15-team field at 611 (+35), followed by Belmont at 619 (+43) and St. John's at 622 (+46).
Nick Etherton paced Tennessee Tech in the second round, firing an even-par 72 to move into a tie for ninth place at 154 (+10) overall. Cooper Gettler followed with a 79 (+7) and is tied for 16th at 156 (+12), while Haden Maxwell carded an 82 (+10) and stands tied for 21st at 157 (+13).
Bryson White shot an 87 (+15) in round two and is tied for 56th at 166 (+22). Alex Broyles rebounded with a 79 (+7) and is also tied for 56th at 166 (+22). Matthew Shull, competing as an individual, posted an 83 (+11) and is 65th at 168 (+24).
