CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – The Tennessee Tech men's golf team finished up the second of three rounds of action at the 2025 Ohio Valley Conference Championships on Monday, completing its second trip around Dalhousie Golf Club.

The purple and gold ended the day ranked 10th overall, tallying a round of 298 to pair with a 302 for a total of 600 through two days. Little Rock extended its lead of the field, producing a 282-278=560 for a nine-stroke advantage. The Trojan's Rhett South took over at the top of the individual leader board, rocking a 7-under 65 to sit at 137.

A trio of Golden Eagles tied for the team lead through two rounds of play, with Matthew Shull, Haden Maxwell, and Spencer Stuke all deadlocked in a tie for 30th with scores of 149. A sophomore, Shull turned in three birdies on his way to a second-round of 76.

The junior Maxwell fired three birdies and 11 pars while delivering a 1-over 73 to climb the rankings. Stuke, a rookie, matched his teammate's effort, contributing a 1-over 73 of his own with two birdies and 13 pars.

Freshman Drew Bolton tied for 42nd following a second-round tally of 76 and two birdies, totaling 153 for the event. Sophomore Alex Broyles rounded out the Tech group with an 81 and one birdie on the day, ending the second round at 158 total.

The third and final round of stroke play at the OVC Championships at Dalhousie Golf Club is set to open Tuesday morning with tee times beginning at 8:00 a.m. CT.
