BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – For the first time in his career, junior Haden Maxwell was honored as an All-OVC selection, earning a place on the Second Team as announced by the league Saturday afternoon, prior to the OVC Championships set to take place Sunday through Wednesday.
The league's runner-up during the stroke play element of last year's OVC Championships, and OVC All-Tournament Team member, Maxwell picked up All-OVC Second Team honors after ranking among league leaders in scoring average during the 2024-25 campaign. In 23 rounds, the junior finished 12th in the league during the regular season with a mark of 73.0.
During the season, the Soddy Daisy, Tenn. native earned one All-Tournament honor and three top-10 finishes in eight events. This year represents the first time the league has honored both an All-OVC First Team and Second Team since 2011-12. The league moved to a single All-OVC Team from 2013 through last season.
The purple and gold will head to Cape Girardeau, Mo., and Dalhousie Golf Club for the Ohio Valley Conference Championships, looking to defend their title from Sunday, Apr. 20 through Wednesday, Apr. 23.
