COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech men's golf team gets back to work at the Big Blue Intercollegiate in Old Hickory, Tenn. from Monday, Apr. 10 to Tuesday, Apr. 11 at the President's Reserve Course at Hermitage Golf Club.

BIG BLUE INTERCOLLEGIATE: 54 holes (36 Monday, 18 Tuesday), located at par-72, 7,044-yard President's Reserve Course at Hermitage Golf Club in Old Hickory, Tenn. Teams will kick off with an 8:00 a.m. CT shotgun start each day.

GOLDEN EAGLE LINEUP: Competing for the Golden Eagles are junior A.J. Wilkerson, freshman Dabney Dickenson, freshman Cameron Yeary and freshman Charles Seals.

THE COMPETITION: The 12-team field consists of host Tennessee State, as well as Chicago State, Christian Brothers, Detroit, Evansville, Green Bay, John A. Logan, Murray State, Tennessee Tech, UT Martin, Walters State and West Georgia.

THOUGHTS FROM COACH BROWN: "We're coming off the best three days we've had all year at our event in Sevierville, so that's obviously a good step in the right direction as we make our final preparations for the end of the season. In the past, we've played the Hermitage [Golf Club] very well and we'll be looking for that same form this time around as well. The guys have been working very hard. They've made a lot of progress this semester and I feel they are doing it at the right time. I'm excited to see what they do at Tennessee State's event and then again at Muscle Shoals for the OVC Championships."

WHAT TO WATCH FOR: The Golden Eagles enter their final tournament of the spring before the Ohio Valley Conference Championships on the heels of their best performance of the year. Tech fired a season-low 878 at the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate, besting the previous top score of 886 set at the GolfWeek Program Challenge during the first action of the year by eight shots. The team's third and final round of 286 also marked a season-best, beating the previous mark of 292 by six strokes.
