Title: Graduate Assistant Manager

A four-year member of the Tennessee Tech men's basketball team, Mitchell Hill is back for his second season serving as a graduate assistant manager for the Golden Eagles.

A native of Cookeville, Hill played three seasons under Tech head coach Steve Payne after redshirting his freshman season. He appeared in 43 contests over that span, inlcuding all 29 of his sophomore season. He sparked the Golden Eagles to a come-from-behind, 77-73 win at Eastern Illinois in 2012-13, playing a career-high 29 minutes, making a career-best three 3-pointers, and hauling a career-high three rebounds.

Known by many as the "Mayor of Cookeville," Hill lettered four years at Cookeville High School, finishing his career as the school's all-time leading scorer with 1,649 points. As a senior he averaged 22 points, six assists, and two steals per game while leading his team to the regular season district championship. He earned District 6-AAA MVP, was named a member of the All-Region team and participated in the Senior TCAT East West All-Star Game.

Named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll eight times and the OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll three times in his career, Hill graduated from Tech this past May with a degree in EXPW/licensure.
