Mike Rogers was hired as a facilities and events coordinator for Tennessee Tech Athletics in August 2022.

Rogers came over to Cookeville after spending the past three years at Cumberland University in a number of roles. From June 2019 to May 2021, he served the Cumberland athletics department as a graduate assistant.

His responsibilities in the department included helping with class attendance, organization of athletic department activities including Leadership Training in August for all student-athletes, as well as gameday management and marketing efforts.

He moved into a financial advisor roles with the University from May 2021 to December 2021 before transitioning to an enrollment specialist from December 2021 to August 2022. 

The Goodlettsville native and former Beech High School standout ran cross country for the Phoenix from 2015-18. Rogers spent two years working as a student volunteer/intern in the athletic department where he helped manage student-worker schedules and gameday coordination, as well as assisting with marketing efforts. 

Rogers graduated from Cumberland in May 2019 with his degree in sport management. He earned his master's in sport management in May 2021.
