Peyton Calitri

Sophomore | Pitcher | Collierville, Tenn.
Calitri delivered one of the more impressive outings by a Tech pitcher in program history, tossing a complete game of 10 innings in a 4-2 victory over ETSU. The right-hander turned in the third-most innings pitched in a single contest by a Golden Eagle in program history and the longest outing in Division I baseball since 2019, scattering five hits and allowing just two runs on a home run in the fourth inning. He went to strike out a career-high 11 batters without issuing a walk, including fanning eight after surrendering the long ball. He punched out the side in the ninth and allowed just two hits after the fourth frame.  

Anna Jones
Women's Basketball

Graduate | Guard/Forward | Jackson, Tenn.
Jones wrapped up her Golden Eagle and collegiate career with two more outstanding performances in postseason play, leading Tech to its first WNIT victory since 2006. The graduate student averaged 17.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 1.5 steals in the team's tour in Texas, shooting 50 percent from the field and 66.7 percent from the charity stripe. In the win at SMU, Jones dropped 19 points with seven boards, shooting 8-for-14 from the floor and blocking a shot. She followed it up with 15 points and seven more rebounds at Houston, collecting three steals along the way. 

March 7 - March 13

Peyton Calitri
Baseball

Sophomore | Pitcher | Collierville, Tenn.
Calitri turned in an eye-raising performance in Tech's extra-inning loss to Southeastern Louisiana, carrying a no-hitter into the eighth inning. The sophomore finished eight innings on the night, allowing just a single hit, one earned run, and a pair of walks. He struck out three batters and started the ninth inning for the Golden Eagles, surrendering a leadoff walk to end his night. He earned a no-decision in the contest after the Lions stole home with two outs in the bottom of the ninth to force extra innings.

Softball

Freshman | Pitcher | Wilsonville, Ala.
Erwin produced the top performance of her young career in the second contest against Quinnipiac, tossing a complete-game shutout in the Golden Eagles' 2-0 victory. The rookie allowed just a single hit on the day, a single with two outs in the seventh inning, and a single walk. Holding the Bobcats to just two baserunners on the day, Erwin piled up seven punch-outs and easily kept her team in the contest until the Golden Eagles plated a pair in the sixth inning to break a scoreless tie.

February 28 - March 6

Jason Hinchman
Baseball

Senior | Left Fielder | Winston, Ga.
Hinchman helped keep Tech one of five unbeaten teams in Division I baseball, slashing .550/.571/1.300 and posting six runs, three doubles, four home runs, and 10 RBI. The senior smacked a round-tripper in each of the team’s four games during the week. He drove in three runs with two hits and a bomb at North Alabama and followed it up with another home run, two hits, and a pair of RBI against Purdue Fort Wayne. He posted a double and dinger with an RBI on Saturday. In the series finale, he crushed his third career grand slam and a pair of doubles on his way to three runs scored and four RBI.

Carmen Betts
Softball

Sophomore | Third Baseman | Glen Allen, Va.
Betts helped lead the Golden Eagles to a three-game, weekend sweep of ETSU, batting .333 with an on-base percentage of .500. She tallied a team-high four runs and drove in three while making no errors at the hot corner. The sophomore drove in a pair in the series opener with a double. She scored twice in the second contest, securing another hit and RBI. Betts rounded out the weekend with one more hit and a run scored in the series finale. In Tech's midweek tilt with No. 17 Tennessee, she scored the Golden Eagles' lone run on the night on a wild pitch.

February 21 - February 27

Gabe Lacy
Baseball

Junior | Third Baseman | Gulfport, Miss.
Lacy was a constant presence on the basepaths in Tech's weekend sweep of Eastern Michigan, batting .667 with a .765 on-base percentage and 1.111 slugging percentage. He accounted for eight runs and four RBI while drawing five walks getting plunked twice. He finished with two hits in each of the team’s three games, including a solo home run in the second contest. He scored three times in the final two games of the series and twice in the opener, helping Tech to its best start to a season since 1970.

Cayla Johnson
Indoor Track & Field

Freshman | Multis | Upper Marlboro, Md.
Johnson turned in a spectacular showing at her first OVC Indoor Championships, scoring an impressive 18 points for the Golden Eagles on their way to a fifth-place finish. The indoor rookie took home medalist honors in the pentathlon with a series of PRs, scoring 3,479 points to win the event. She also delivered a runner-up performance in the long jump, crushing her previous career-long with a distance of 5.91 meters. Johnson earned a top-15 finish in the 60-meter hurdles as well. 

February 14 - February 20

John Pettway
Men's Basketball

Graduate | Guard | Safford, Ala.
Pettway continued his incredible stretch of play by averaging 19.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.0 steals per game over a pair of Tech wins while shooting an incredible 82.4 percent from the floor and 76.9 percent from the free-throw line. Against SEMO, he scored 17 points on 7-for-9 shooting while dishing out two assists and snagging three steals. At Austin Peay he dropped a season-high 22 points on 7-for-8 efficiency with seven boards.

Women's Basketball

Graduate | Guard/Forward | Jackson, Tenn.
Jones was unstoppable for the Golden Eagles during the week, averaging a double-double to the tune of 21.0 points and 11.0 rebounds per game. The graduate shot 56.0 percent from the floor, 85.7 percent from the charity stripe and made both of her attempts from distance. She dropped 22 points and a career-high 16 boards in Tech's win over SEMO. She followed it up with 21 points and six more rebounds at Austin Peay.

February 7 - February 13

John Pettway
Men's Basketball

Graduate | Guard | Safford, Ala.
Pettway delivered two of his best showings in the purple and gold while helping Tech to a 2-1 week, averaging 11.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 2.0 steals while shooting 64 percent from the field. In Tech's win at EIU, he posted 12 points and a team-high nine rebounds while hitting 5-of-7 shots. He followed it up with his first double-double as a Golden Eagle at SIUE, dropping a season-high 18 points with 10 rebounds and three steals.

Haeli Bryson
Softball

Senior | Pitcher/Infielder | Otto, N.C.
Bryson had her hand in every aspect of Tech's 4-1 weekend to open the season, batting .375 with a team-high eight RBI and tossing 9.2 innings with a team-best 11 strikeouts. She posted three games with a pair of RBI and recorded at least one hit and one RBI in all five games. On the mound, the senior delivered a complete-game shutout with just one hit allowed at Presbyterian, racking up eight punch-outs.

Keishawn Davidson
Men's Basketball

Sophomore | Guard | Murfreesboro, Tenn.
Davidson turned in a well-balanced week on the hardwood, averaging 11.0 points, 5.7 rebounds, 5.7 assists, and 2.0 steals while shooting 42.9 percent from the floor and 41.7 percent from distance in three games. He posted 11 points, seven boards, and three dimes against Morehead State to open the week. He closed things with his fourth career double-double against Belmont, delivering 14 points, six rebounds, and a career-high 11 helpers.

Women's Basketball

Graduate | Guard/Forward | Jackson, Tenn.
Jones was a scoring machine for the purple and gold in three games during the week, averaging 19.3 points and 7.0 rebounds while shooting 61.3 percent from the field and 62.5 percent from downtown. She opened things with a season-high 25 points and 12 boards at UT Martin for a double-double. She made it back-to-back 20-point outings with 21 at Morehead State. She closed the week with 12 points and six boards against Belmont. 

January 24 - January 30

Jr. Clay
Men's Basketball

Junior | Guard | Chattanooga, Tenn.
Clay paced the Golden Eagles in a trio of OVC contests, averaging 13.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 2.3 assists while shooting 50 percent from the floor and 70 percent from the charity stripe. He grabbed four boards at Murray State with eight points and followed with 13 points and three dimes while shooting 60 percent from the floor in the rematch. Against Austin Peay, he scored 18 points with three assists and four boards, hitting 7-of-8 free throws.

Women's Basketball

Graduate | Guard/Forward | Jackson, Tenn.
Jones averaged a double-double in a pair of big OVC wins, posting 13.0 points, 11.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.5 steals per game. In Tech's close battle with Eastern Illinois, she collected 10 points and a game-high 13 boards with three assists while hitting 5-of-8 attempts from the field. She followed it up with 16 points, nine rebounds, four helpers, and three steals in the tight victory over Austin Peay.

January 17 - January 23

Jr. Clay
Men's Basketball

Junior | Guard | Chattanooga, Tenn.
Clay was a key contributor on offense for Tech in a pair of OVC match-ups, averaging 15.5 points, 2.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 3.0 steals per game while shooting 50 percent from the field and 55.6 percent from downtown. He posted 11 points with three boards and two steals at Tennessee State. In Tech's huge win over SIUE, the guard dropped 20 points with five dimes and four steals, hitting 3-of-5 tries from 3-point range.

Women's Basketball

Graduate | Guard/Forward | Jackson, Tenn.
Jones played a critical role in Tech's 2-0 week in OVC play, averaging 12.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 2.0 steals per game while shooting 55 percent from the floor. She tallied nine points with five boards and a pair of steals in the win over SIUE. She followed with a 7-for-11 showing, four rebounds, and two more steals in Tech's big victory at Belmont, hitting the game-winning shot with just seconds left on the clock.

January 10 - January 16

Kenny White Jr.
Men's Basketball

Freshman | Forward | Madisonville, Ky.
White Jr. was a consistent threat for the Golden Eagles in their first week of OVC play, averaging 13.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.0 steals, and 1.5 blocks while shooting 55.6 percent from the floor and 37.5 percent from distance. He hit 5-of-7 shots for 14 points with five boards and three rejections at Belmont. He followed it up with 13 points, four rebounds, and four steals in Tech's win at UT Martin.

Mackenzie Coleman
Women's Basketball

Graduate | Forward | Edmonton, Ky.
Coleman put together a monster performance in the Golden Eagles' massive road win at Southeast Missouri, accounting for 24 points, two rebounds, and two assists. She was highly efficient, sinking 11-of-14 attempts from the floor at a 78.6 percent clip and both tries from the charity stripe. Defensively, she was dominant, producing a pair of steals and three blocks.

January 3 - January 9

Elias Grubert
Tennis

Junior | Paraná, Argentina
Grubert collected a pair of set wins against No. 10 Wake Forest, ultimately falling in his first singles bout and going unfinished in his second. In the first, the junior fell to Siddhant Banthia, in three sets, claiming the opener 7-5. He fell in the second 7-5 and then lost the tiebreaker, 1-0 (10-3). Against No. 75 Filippo Moroni, he pulled off a 6-4 win in the first set and was tied 3-3 when the match was called final at 4-0. 

Cayla Johnson
Indoor Track & Field

Freshman | Multis | Upper Marlboro, Md.
Johnson claimed a pair of medalist honors in her first indoor event in the purple and gold, pacing Tech to a solid first meet. She took top honors in the high jump, clearing 1.65 meters (5'5") for a personal-best mark. The rookie also claimed a first-place finish in the long jump with a leap of 5.32 meters (17'5.5") for another personal indoor record. Johnson finished sixth in the 50-meter hurdles with a time of 8.90 seconds, establishing another PR.

Women's Basketball

Junior | Guard | Oak Ridge, Tenn.
Guinn put the purple and gold on her back in Tech' Ohio Valley Conference weekend openers, averaging 19.0 points, 10.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and 2.5 steals per game. She posted 18 points with seven boards, four dimes, and three steals at TSU, hitting 6-of-7 shots from the floor. The guard followed it up with a career-high 20 points in the win over Murray State, snagging a career-best 14 rebounds for a double-double and seven dimes.

December 20 - December 26

Mamoudou Diarra
Men's Basketball

Junior | Forward | Bamako, Mali
Diarra paced the Golden Eagles in his return to Cincinnati, leading the purple and gold with 15 points. After spending four seasons with the Bearcats, the transfer forward hit 3-of-7 tries from distance and 4-of-9 attempts from the floor in his return, adding four rebounds and a pair of blocks. Diarra also hit 4-of-5 shots from the charity stripe.

Kenny White Jr.
Men's Basketball

Freshman | Forward | Madisonville, Ky.
White Jr. produced at a career-high level, averaging 18.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.5 assists across a pair of games while shooting an incredible 76.2 percent from the floor and 80 percent from deep. At Wright State, he unloaded for a career-high 24 points on 10-for-12 shooting and 3-for-3 showing from downtown. He added 13 points, six boards, four assists, and three steals in the win over Montreat College.

Peyton Carter
Women's Basketball

Sophomore | Guard | Abingdon, Va.
Carter delivered the top performance of her young career in Tech's win over Tennessee Wesleyan, securing the first double-double of her time in the purple and gold. She tallied game-highs of 12 points and 10 rebounds, adding three assists and a whopping four steals as well in the victory over the Lady Bulldogs. The guard hit 4-of-7 attempts from the field and 3-of-4 tries from the charity stripe.

December 6 - December 12

John Pettway
Men's Basketball

Graduate | Guard | Safford, Ala.
Pettway averaged 12.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 2.5 steals per game while shooting 64.7 percent from the floor in a pair of tight losses. In Tech's overtime defeat at Western Carolina, the graduate scored seven points with five boards. He followed it with season highs of 17 points (on 8-for-9 shooting) and eight rebounds in the team's three-point loss to Troy. He also collected a season-high four steals.

Mackenzie Coleman
Women's Basketball

Graduate | Forward | Edmonton, Ky.
In the team's lone game of the week, Coleman propelled the Golden Eagles past Western Carolina with a game-high 21 points. The graduate added a team-best eight rebounds to the mix while playing 34 minutes. She finished 8-for-13 from the floor and an impressive 3-for-3 from beyond the 3-point line. She shot 61.5 percent overall and converted both of her attempts from the charity stripe.

November 29 - December 5

Jr. Clay
Men's Basketball

Junior | Guard | Chattanooga, Tenn.
Clay led the Golden Eagles in scoring in a pair of tough losses, averaging 12.5 points, 4.5 assists, and one steal per game while shooting 87.5 percent from the charity stripe. He produced 10 points and six helpers against Chattanooga, including three rebounds. He followed with a team-high 15 points while dishing out three assists in the close defeat at Evansville, hitting 3-of-4 tries from the charity stripe.

Mackenzie Coleman
Women's Basketball

Graduate | Forward | Edmonton, Ky.
Coleman averaged 14.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.0 steals, and 1.5 blocks per game while shooting 57.1 percent from the field and 42.9 percent from 3-point range in a two-game split for the week. At No. 11 Tennessee, she scored eight points with four boards, two blocks, and three steals. She followed it up with 21 points, six rebounds, and three more steals while shooting 69.2 percent from the floor in a win at Western Kentucky.

November 22 - November 28

Jr. Clay
Men's Basketball

Junior | Guard | Chattanooga, Tenn.
Clay was spectacular in a pair of contests for the purple and gold, averaging 15.5 points, 6.0 assists, and 3.5 steals per game. He accounted for 12 points, nine assists, and five steals with zero turnovers in the win over Lipscomb, narrowly missing a double-double. The guard followed it up with a game-high 19 points at No. 15 Tennessee, hitting 3-of-6 tries from deep while dishing out three assists and gathering two more steals.

Junior | Guard | Oak Ridge, Tenn.
Guinn paced the Golden Eagles across three games during the week, averaging 12.3 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.7 steals per game. She shot 50 percent from the floor while averaging 31.8 minutes per game. The guard produced double-digits in all three contests, with 14 points, six boards, and five helpers against No. 25 FGCU. She also scored 12 points with seven rebounds against New Mexico State.

November 15 - November 21

Ashton Maples
Football

Freshman | Wide Receiver | Maryville, Tenn.
Maples delivered the best performance of his young career, leading the Golden Eagles with personal-best marks of nine receptions and 108 receiving yards. He hauled in one of Tech's two receiving scores and a long reception of 22 yards in the contest. His nine catches marked the most of any receiver from either team in the contest. 

Anna Jones
Women's Basketball

Graduate | Guard/Forward | Jackson, Tenn.
Jones put together a monster showing at Vanderbilt, exploding for game-highs of 24 points and nine rebounds. The Jackson, Tenn. native completed the contest 9-for-11 from the floor for a mark of 81.8 percent. She also converted 5-of-7 tries from the charity stripe, a 71.4 percent clip. Jones chipped in an assist and a steal while making her only attempt from beyond the 3-point arc.

November 8 - November 14

Mamoudou Diarra
Men's Basketball

Junior | Forward | Bamako, Mali
Diarra enjoyed a fantastic debut weekend with the Golden Eagles, averaging 15.0 points and 5.0 rebounds while shooting better than 60 percent from the floor and 50 percent from deep. In his Tech debut, he paced the team with 11 points at #12 Memphis. He narrowly missed a double-double in the win over Oakwood, snagging nine boards while dropping a career-high 19 points in just 14-and-a-half minutes on the floor.

Skylar Boom
Volleyball

Sophomore | Middle Blocker | Louisville, Ky.
Boom was unstoppable on offense in helping Tech to a pair of five-set wins over Belmont, racking up an astounding 35 kills on an eye-popping .473 attack percentage. The sophomore contributed 11 terminations with five blocks on Friday. She then went ballistic on Saturday, shattering her previous career-high of 10 kills with a staggering 24 terminations on just 32 attempts. Boom lived up to her name, smashing .625, and totaling three blocks.

November 1 - November 7

Mika Berghaus
Tennis

Sophomore | Cologne, Germany
Berghaus made an impressive run at the Wake Forest Fall Invitational, collecting a trio of victories to advance to the A1 Single bracket championship match against top-seeded Demon Decon Filippo Moroni. He earned wins of 7-6(5), 2-6, 6-4 in the first round, 6-4, 1-6, 6-1 in the quarterfinals, and 6-4, 6-4 in the semifinals, defeating athletes from Charlotte, Duke, and Wake Forest along the way.

Taylor Dorsey
Volleyball

Junior | Middle Blocker | Birmingham, Ala.
Dorsey delivered a dominant showing at the net for Tech, compiling a whopping 18 total blocks for an eye-popping 2.25 per set average. In the first win over EIU, the junior racked up eight blocks and 14 kills on a .542 attack percentage. She followed it with her fourth career double-double, blocking 10 total attacks and registering 11 kills while hitting .435 with three service aces. Dorsey totaled 19.5 points in each match.

October 25 - October 31

Nick Sutton
Men's Golf

Sophomore | Matthews, N.C.
Sutton wrapped up his incredible fall on the links by earning his first collegiate medalist honors in topping 95 other participants at the Battle at Black Creek. Firing a career-low score of 6-under 66 in the second round, he followed it with a 5-under 67 to finish with a career-best 12-under final. His 204 tied for the fourth-lowest mark in program history with TTU Sports Hall of Famer Scott Stallings.

Helen Pacurariu-Nagy
Women's Cross Country

Sophomore | Covasna, Romania
Pacurariu-Nagy paced the Golden Eagles in their top finish ever as a unit at the Ohio Valley Conference Championships, leading Tech to a runner-up showing. The CBU transfer led the purple and gold for the second time this season, placing third overall with a time of 18:19.0. Tying for the second-best individual finish in program history, the youngster earned All-OVC First Team honors with her performance.

October 18 - October 24

Devin Squires
Football

Freshman | Defensive Lineman | Kings Mill, Ohio
Squires delivered a dominant performance in Tech's big win over Virginia-Lynchburg, tying for the team lead with five tackles. He provided one of the key highlights of the day, teaming with Chris Tucker for a sack and forced fumble, picking up a fumble of his own teammate on the same play, and returning it for his first career touchdown. He also added a hurry on the day, wreaking havoc on the Dragons' backfield all day. 

Taylor Dorsey
Volleyball

Junior | Middle Blocker | Birmingham, Ala.
Dorsey was her usual dominant self on the defensive side of the ball in a pair of matches against SEMO, totaling 12 blocks for an average of 1.71 per set. She turned things up a notch on offense, erupting for a whopping 33 kills over seven sets to average 4.71 terminations, and helped Tech to a weekend split. She posted 18 kills with seven blocks while hitting .452 in the first match and followed with a .519 attack percentage, 15 kills, and five blocks in the win.

October 11 - October 17

Miceal McCaul
Men's Cross Country

Freshman | Newry, Northern Ireland
McCaul turned in his top finish of the season in leading the Tech squad to a runner-up finish at the Golden Eagle Invitational, placing third overall with a time of 25:30.2. The purple and gold tallied 45 points overall, half of third-place Southeast Missouri. It marked the freshman's first time leading the Golden Eagles this season.

Women's Cross Country

Freshman | Franklin, Tenn.
Laboy took her turn pacing the purple and gold, the third Tech runner to do so, collecting a runner-up finish at the Golden Eagle Invitational with a time of 18:41.4. The returning freshman helped spark a victory for the Golden Eagles in their home event, featuring seven teams from across the Ohio Valley Conference and state of Tennessee. 

October 4 - October 10

Nick Sutton
Men's Golf

Sophomore | Matthews, N.C.
Sutton collected a runner-up finish among 92 participants at the Grover Page Classic, the top ranking of his career, while helping the Golden Eagles to a second-place showing in the 16-team field. He tied his career-low tournament score with a 208 overall, backed by a pair of 4-under, 68s over the final 36 holes of action. The sophomore finished 8-under overall for the week.

Chloe Smith
Soccer

Junior | Forward | Cincinnati, Ohio
Smith was involved on both game-winners for the Golden Eagles, helping Tech go 2-0 in OVC play. The junior assisted on the winner in double overtime at UT Martin, helping Tech to a huge 2-1 victory over a previously undefeated Skyhawk squad. She followed it up with the game-winning strike in double OT against Eastern Illinois, draining a penalty shot in the 105th minute.

September 27 - October 3

David Gist
Football

Junior | Running Back | Cookeville, Tenn.
Gist turned in a career day in helping the Golden Eagles to their first win of the season over Southeast Missouri. The Cookeville native rushed for a career-high 133 yards and two scores on 25 carries, adding 11 yards on three receptions to the mix. Averaging 5.3 yards per attempt, Gist turned in the most rushing yards by a Golden Eagle since Yeedee Thaenrat went off for 164 against Tennessee State in 2016.

Hand continued her sizzling hot play in helping Tech to its first 4-0 OVC start since the 1993 campaign, averaging 11.88 assists per set with nine kills, 24 digs, and five blocks in a pair of 3-1 wins over Tennessee State. She compiled 49 assists with six kills and 10 digs in the Friday win and followed it with 46 more helpers, 14 digs, and three blocks in Saturday's victory. She moved into ninth place on Tech's career assists charts as well.

Evzen Holis
Tennis

Sophomore | Brno, Czech Republic
Holis produced a great performance at the ITA Ohio Valley Regionals, finishing the week 5-2 overall and an impressive 4-1 in singles action. The sophomore produced four straight wins in singles play to advance to the quarterfinals of the event, defeating two "Power 5" opponents along the way. He also paired with teammate Andre Rodeia for a doubles win on the open day of action.

Ashley Hand
Volleyball

Senior | Setter | Greenwood Village, Colo.
Hand helped lead the Golden Eagles to their first 2-0 start to OVC play since 2014 with brilliant distribution skills, accounting for 11.14 assists per set in seven games at SIUE. She turned in 33 in Tech's 3-0 sweep on Friday and followed it up with 45 more in the 3-1 win over the Cougars on Saturday. She also added 17 digs and seven kills for the week.

Nick Sutton
Men's Golf

Sophomore | Matthews, N.C.
Sutton tied for ninth in a field of 93 golfers at the Golfweek Fall Challenge, firing a career-low 208 while helping the Golden Eagles secure a top-five finish. The sophomore delivered a career-best 6-under 66 in the third and final round of action. His career-low round and 54-hole score both ranked in the top-10 best performances in program history.

Selma Askildsen
Soccer

Freshman | Defender | Hosle, Norway
Askildsen helped anchor a stellar defensive effort for a Golden Eagle squad returning from a two-week hiatus due to COVID-19 protocols. The returning freshman played all 110 minutes of Tech's 0-0 tie with in-state rival ETSU, helping the purple and gold pitch its second shutout of the season. The Golden Eagles held the Bucs to just three shots on goal in the match.

Rafael Tosetto
Tennis

Junior | Jacarei, Brazil
Tosetto kicked off the 2021-22 season in style at the UNCG Fall Invitational, finishing 4-0 in singles action and 5-1 overall for the Golden Eagles. The junior picked up victories in singles action over Chattanooga, Radford, UNC Asheville, and Campbell, as well as a doubles victory with teammate Elias Grubert over Campbell.

Taylor Dorsey
Volleyball

Junior | Middle Blocker | Birmingham, Ala.
Dorsey earned All-Tournament honors at the Chattanooga Classic after leading Tech with 25 kills, a robust .426 attack percentage, nine total blocks, and five service aces. The junior was dominant in a 3-0 win over Chattanooga, hitting .615 with eight kills and no errors, dialing up a career-high four aces, and accounting for four total blocks. She turned in 10 kills and three blocks with a .500 hitting percentage in Tech’s sweep over Troy.

Dominic Smith
Men's Cross Country

Sophomore | Swansea, Wales
Making his Golden Eagle debut after transferring from Loughborough University, Dominic Smith was the lead man for the purple and gold at the Covered Bridge Open. The sophomore turned in a personal best time of 25:39.60 in the 8K, placing 13th overall among a vast field of 137 runners across 13 teams.

Ashley Hand
Volleyball

Senior | Setter | Greenwood Village, Colo.
Hand was a distribution machine for Tech, garnering Golden Eagle Invitational honors while averaging 10.85 assists, 2.23 digs, and 0.69 blocks per set. In Tech’s win over USA, she doled out 55 helpers, the second-highest total of her career, and 10 digs for her second double-double of the year. She matched her assists total against Valpo with 14 digs for another double-double.

Madolyn Isringhausen
Volleyball

Freshman | Outside Hitter | Edwardsville, Ill.
Isringhausen turned in a career-high and match-high 15 kills against Auburn, hitting hit .211 with 16.5 points in the season opener. She followed it up with another match-high 14 kills and another 16.5 points in Tech’s 3-1 win over Jackson State. She averaged an impressive 4.14 kills per set and 4.71 points per set while earning War Eagle Invitational All-Tournament honors.

Isabelle Austin
Soccer

Senior | Goalkeeper | Sylvania, Ohio
Austin was a force between the pipes during Tech's opening weekend of the season, making 12 saves across two matches with one shutout and just one goal allowed. She made an impressive nine stops in an overtime loss at No. 18 Vanderbilt and followed it up with three saves and her seventh career shutout in a 1-0 win over defending ASUN Tournament champion Liberty.
