Glen Davis starred in basketball and football from 1938-42, winning four letters in each and serving as captain of both squads. On the gridiron, he was a blocking back for four years under Coach Overall, helping the Eagles compile a 19-16-1 record. He also helped the basketball team go 35-27. Davis retired in 1985, but remained involved in several activities, especially Boy Scouts, Little League Baseball, and church work.
