Carl Barlow earned three letters each in football and baseball as a Golden Eagle student-athlete. Following graduation, he coached at the high school level in Idaho for 32 years, recording an enviable 220-98-7 career record. In one stretch, his teams won 49 out of 50 games, including 32 straight victories. Carl also developed the "Barlow knee support," which protects players from crippling knee injuries, and is now used worldwide by athletes from the high school level on up to the NFL.
