Hulon Draper earned four letters each in baseball and basketball, as well as running three outstanding years on the track team. During three coaching stints on the high school level that extended over 33 years, he compiled a 117-80-9 record including a 1965 season that resulted in his being named the Tri-State coach of the year by the Chattanooga Free Press.
