A distance specialist, Baylee is a freshman on the Golden Eagle
roster who will compete on the cross country team in the fall and
the track & field team in the winter and spring.
AT TECH (2014-15): Baylee gained solid collegiate
experience in her first year at Tech, running in all six meets
during the cross country season...posted a career-best time of
20:48.82 in the Commodore Classic at Vanderbilt where she also had
her best team finish, placing second on the squad...was Tech's
fourth finisher at the Greater Louisville Classic in the time of
21:18.40.
HIGH SCHOOL: Baylee attended Beech High School in
Hendersonville, Tenn...ran cross country and track...posted a
personal record of 20:13 in the 5K.
PERSONAL: Baylee Christine Balgemann is the daughter of Robert and Angie Balgemann...was born in Arizona on April 30, 1996... majoring in elementary education.
