Emily is a promising athlete who is on her first year on the
Golden Eagle squad...strong on the track, and a dedicated student
in the classroom...also played basketball in high school.
HIGH SCHOOL: Emily was a two-sport athlete at
Ronald Reagan High School in San Antonio...competed as a sprinter
in track four years for coach Nancy Aimarat...helped the team to
second place in the district for three consecutive years between
2006 and 2008...best time in the 100m was 11.5...reached 25.6 as a
best time in 200m...also competed in the 400m with a career-best
time of 59.3...also played basketball as a small forward in her
10th and 11th grade seasons under coach Terry Barton...she helped
the basketball team went on to be bi-district champions during her
