In 2017 (Sophomore): Took on a larger role defensively for Tech, playing in 27 matches (starting 13) and 85 sets… totaled 171 digs (averaging 2.01 per set) and 16 assists and led Tech with 18 service aces… put up double-digit digs six times, including a career-high of 16 versus New Mexico (Sept. 16) at Toledo’s Blue/Gold Invitational.

In 2016 (Freshman): Played in 19 sets over 11 matches, totaling 21 digs, two assists and a service ace…put up a career-high six digs against Oregon State (Sept. 15) at the Idaho Volleyball Classic.

High School: Bossong comes to Tech from Siegel High School in nearby Murfreesboro, where she was a three-year letterwinner and libero/defensive specialist for head coach Shawn Robinson... during her high school career, Bossong led the Stars to three district and three region titles as well as three third-place finishes at the TSSAA Class AAA state tournament… she also helped to compile an 86-14 career and an undefeated 24-0 conference record on varsity... posted a school-record 1,058 career digs and totaled 108 career service aces in her career… collected a school-record 754 digs, 52 aces and 48 assists in her senior season and was named to the Daily News Journal all-area first team… put up a school-record 41 digs in a state quarterfinal match… received all-district, all-tournament, AVCA Under Armour All-American watch list and PrepVolleyball.com “Gym Dandy” honors in 2015.

Personal: Currently a lower division nursing student at Tech’s Whitson-Hester School of Nursing… named to the Athletic Director’s honor roll four times (spring 2018, fall 2017, spring 2017, fall 2016) and the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll once (2016-17).
