Volleyball to hold home scrimmage Saturday

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee Tech fans can get their first look at the 2017 volleyball squad Saturday afternoon when the team hosts the Purple v. Gold Scrimmage in the Hooper Eblen Center.

The intrasquad scrimmage, which is free and open to the public, is set to start at 3 p.m. CT. The Golden Eagles will split into two teams – assistant coach Kyle Gamble's team features Susie Jeziorowski; K'Vonna Johnson; Kirsten Brugere; Allison Morrett; Shealene Little; Shaneice James; and Abigail Duncan, while assistant coach Sherisa Livingston's team includes Lexi Kingree; Rachel Thomas; Kellie Williams; Emily Brooks; Liz Bossong; Jessica Oliver; Noni Thompkins; and Taylor Houck.

Tech will not play at home until Sept. 21 against conference foe Jacksonville State, 12 matches and nearly a month into the season.

Admission is free to all Tennessee Tech regular-season matches.
