Dodd wins Nov. 9 OVC Offensive Player of the Week Award

COOKEVILLE, Tenn.—Senior Cody Dodd picked up her second OVC Offensive Player of the Week title this season, after a solid performance last weekend against conference opponents Tennessee State and Belmont.

Dodd led the Golden Eagles in kills and digs over the weekend; picking up 41 kills (4.10 per set) and 34 digs (3.40 per set) overall. She posted double-doubles in both matches this weekend, hitting a season-high 26 kills against the Bruins while adding 21 digs to the victory. Against, the Tigers, Dodd collected 15 kills and 13 digs in the match and now totals 16 double-doubles on the season. 

So far this year, Dodd has gathered an impressive 426 kills (4.22 per set), 291 digs (2.88 pet set), 58 blocks (0.57 per set), 47 service aces (0.47 per set), and maintained a solid .271 hitting percentage, leading the Golden Eagle team in all areas besides digs (where she falls second) and blocks (where she falls third).
