In 2008 (Sophomore): A steady contributor throughout the season, Marie finished the season third on the team with 55 total blocks and fourth with 203 kills...posted single-match career highs in kills (15), attempts (33) and digs (4) in the OVC championship match against Murray State on Nov. 22...finished the season strong with 13 kills and a career-best .520 hitting percentage in the first round of the NCAA tournament against Tulane on Dec. 5...set a career high with six total blocks against Eastern Illinois on Sept. 26...tallied 11 kills with a .417 hitting percentage and three blocks against Jacksonville State on Sept. 23...finished with 10-or-more kills in seven matches.

In 2007 (Freshman): Marie proved to the OVC that she was developing into a strong player during her freshman season...not only just a blocker, Marie had nine kills in the late season match against Morehead State that helped send Tech to the OVC tournament...Only three days after the Morehead State match, she had six kills with a .312 attack percentage...her best defensive performance came against Missouri State on Sept. 8 with four total blocks.

Prep Highlights: Peddicord was named second-team all-state in 2006 as a member of her Columbus East High team and was an Indiana All-Star in 2006, an all-HHC Conference selection in ‘04 and ‘06 and the Republic’s All-Area Player of the Year in 2006... she helped lead her team to sectional and regional championships and the Indiana state Final Four in 2003 and an HHC Conference championship in ‘04 for coach Faith Wilder-Newland... finished her prep career with 1,046 kills, 188 blocks, 221 digs and 113 aces...her USAV Junior Olympic team, the 18 Reds, competed in the USA Club Division Championships in Minneapolis.
