COOKEVILLE, Tenn. - Four members of the Tennessee Tech women's tennis team will represent the Golden Eagles at Virginia Tech this weekend in the Hokie Fall Invitational. The three-day event begins on Friday, Oct. 2 and will conclude on Sunday, Oct. 4.

Playing for TTU this weekend will be junior Katie Barnhill (photo), junior Diana Woodcock, sophomore Laura Porras and freshman Victoria Cran. Each of the four will be playing in singles and doubles competition. Barnhill/Cran will pair while Woodcock/Porras will form the other duo.

Cran and Barnhill both competed last weekend at the Troy Invitational where Cran went 1-1 in singles and 1-1 in doubles with partner Frederike Kahl. Barnhill fell in the opening round of both the singles and doubles competition and will look to bounce back with a strong showing this weekend.

So far this season, Cran is 3-1 overall in both singles and doubles, while Porras is a perfect 2-0 in singles. Woodcock will be taking the court for the first time this season on Friday.
