In Leydi Zora's first semester at Tech, she showed outstanding acheivements in both the classroom and on the court. A transer from Arkansas State University, Zora's game will be one to fear for teams in the conference this spring. Leydi has a very consistent style, allowing her to battle any player that comes her way. Her ability to touch the ball and place it wherever she wants makes Zora a tough contender in the OVC.
Before Tech: Leydi Zora played at Arkansas State for two years before coming to Tech after attending Luis Lopez de Mesa. There she recieved Athlete of the Year in 2005 and 2006. Leydi also recieved the academic award for having the Best ICFES.
PERSONAL: Leydi Tatiania Zora is the daughter of Consuelo Vesga and Omar Zora of Floridablanca, Colombia...birthdate is Sept. 25, 1990...full name is Leydi Zora...majoring in electrical engineering.
