Cran showed a lot of promise for the Tech Women's Tennis team in her first semester. With the best record on the team, 6-2, Victoria's consistent style has taken her far in all of Tech's competitions in the fall. Her ability to outlast her opponents and her strong mental focus gained her a trip to the finals at the Virginia Tech Invitational. Cran also had success at the Troy Invitational, where she made it to the quarterfinals in singles and won first round of doubles with partner, Frederike Kran. Despite such a successful start to Victoria's freshman year at Tennessee Tech, it didn't come easy for Victoria. Cran battled a wrist injury in her first semester due to a previous surgery prior to her time at Tech. Her fighter attitude will be a threat for opponents in the upcoming spring semester and years to come.
