2022 (Junior): Nye’s stellar season led her to her third straight All-OVC second-team accolade, joining Karigan Owens as the only Golden Eagles to earn second-team All-OVC distinction in three consecutive seasons…started all 18 matches and ranked fourth among field players with 1,524 minutes of action…scored two goals for a four-point campaign…attempted 11 shots, three of which were on-goal for a .273 shot on-goal percentage…scored a dramatic game-tying goal in the 86th minute in an eventual 1-1 draw at Chattanooga on Sept. 1…found the back of the net to open the scoring in the 28th minute of a 2-2 tie at UT Martin on Oct. 2…played in all 90 minutes in 13 of 18 matches, including in the OVC Tournament championship match vs. SIUE on Nov. 6…played a pivotal role on a TTU defense that was responsible for six shutouts in eight OVC matches and tied for the lowest amount of goals allowed during conference play with four surrendered in eight league contests.

2021 (Sophomore): Despite being limited to 12 matches and only eight starts due to injury, Nye put together a standout campaign that saw her take home a spot on the All-OVC second team for the second-consecutive season… joined Selma Askildsen as first Golden Eagles to be named to the All-OVC second team in back-to-back seasons since Karigan Owens was recognized three straight years from 2015-17…accumulated 942 minutes of action…finished second on the team with three goals and second on the team with six points…attempted 10 shots, including five on goal for a .500 shot on-goal percentage…scored the game-winning goal on a penalty kick in the 89th minute in a 2-1 victory at Murray State in the OVC Tournament quarterfinals on Oct. 31, a match that was named as the TTU Athletics Department “Game of the Year” at the Golden Wings Awards and pushed Tech to the OVC Tournament semifinals for the fourth time in the last seven seasons…scored her first goal of the season in the OVC opener vs. SIUE on Sept. 26…scored the game-tying goal in the 56th minute and took a season-high three shots in an eventual 2-2 tie vs. Murray State on Oct. 21…played all 90 minutes and attempted a shot in the OVC Tournament semifinals at UT Martin on Nov. 5.

2020-21 (Freshman): Nye put together a huge rookie season on her way to an All-OVC second-team selection and a spot on the All-OVC Newcomer team…started in all 10 matches and finished third among field players on the club with 885 minutes on the pitch…scored a goal and had two points…took eight shots, four of which were on-goal for a .500 shot on-goal percentage…as a defensive-mid contributed significantly to a Tech defense from the back line that led the OVC with seven goals allowed and led the conference with a 0.67 goals against average…scored the game-winning goal in a 1-0 victory at Austin Peay in her first collegiate contest on Mar. 2…played in each and every minute in seven of 10 matches…took a season-high two shots and appeared in 108 minutes in a 1-1 draw vs. Eastern Kentucky on Apr. 6 in the regular-season finale.

High School: A two-sport athlete at Madison Academic Magnet in Jackson, Tenn., Nye suited up in both soccer and basketball…four-time All-District performer, two-time All-Region player and two-time District MVP…helped lead her squad to three district championships, four region titles and four state quarterfinalist appearances…scored 85 goals and added 29 assists in her career…found the back of the net 36 times as a senior…on the hardwood, was twice named to the All-District team and was twice named to the All-Tournament team…academically, was a member of the National Honors Society, President of the Model UN and ranked third in her class with a 4.0 GPA.  

Club/ODP Experience: Nye was a member of the 01 Lady Wolves and the 01 Lobos…while on the 01 Lady Wolves, helped lead her team to two D2 Tennessee State championships in 2017 and 2018 as well as a D2 President Cup finalist appearance in 2016..while on the 01 Lobos, helped guide her team to a D1 Tennessee State championship, a D1 Region 3 championship and a D1 national finalist appearance in 2019…member of the Tennessee State Olympic Development Program.
