COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Tuesday afternoon featured a piece of hardware of the Tennessee Tech soccer team, as senior Isabelle Austin was honored as the OVC's co-Goalkeeper of the Week to help tie a ribbon on the end of the regular season.

Austin, who combined for 11 stops in Tech's pair of draws against Murray State and SEMO, earned her fourth career weekly accolade and second of the 2021 campaign after securing the award on Oct. 12 as well. The Sylvania, Ohio native collected a season-best eight saves in Thursday's 2-2 tie against the Racers, before registering three halts en route to her fourth clean sheet of the season and 10th of her career in a scoreless knot Sunday at SEMO.

Austin's 65 stops throughout the regular season ranked her fifth in the league, while her .783 save percentage was also the fifth highest in the conference. The reigning OVC Goalkeeper of the Year will conclude her Tech tenure in the Top 10 in every major goalkeeping category for a Golden Eagle career.

Austin and the rest of the purple and gold will square off with Eastern Illinois in Friday's first round of the OVC Tournament, to be played in Murray, Ky. First kick with the Panthers is slated for 2 p.m. CT.
