Golden Eagle soccer team to wrap up spring with three home contests

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech soccer team will host the first of three home contests as part of its spring schedule, welcoming Cumberland University to the Tech Soccer Field Saturday afternoon for a 1 p.m. CDT bout.

The Golden Eagles played a 7-on-7 match on March 23 at Western Kentucky, the first of the team's four scheduled spring contests.

The team will host in-state rival Lipscomb on Saturday, April 13, also in a 1 p.m. contest. Coach Daniel Brizard's squad will conlude the regular spring schedule with a Saturday match against Trevecca Nazarene on April 20. That match also has a 1 p.m. start time.

The final game of the spring will be the team's alumni game, a contest that welcomes any and all alumni of the Tech women's soccer program to come out and participate. The match will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 27 with a gathering and cookout to follow shortly after.
