Tech women's golf team signs Hailey Stegemann, Reagan Stuke to national letters of intent

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee Tech women's golf head coach Polk Brown announced the addition of two players for the 2021-22 athletic season, signing Hailey Stegemann and Reagan Stuke to national letters of intent to play for the Golden Eagles.

HAILEY STEGEMANN
Hometown: Cincinnati, Ohio.
High School: Clermont Northeastern High School

Stegemann lettered four years for head coach Brandon Hoeppner at Clermont Northeastern High School in Cincinnati, earning an array of accolades along the way. The team's No. 1-positioned player her final three years, she was named to the Southern Buckeye Academic Athletic Conference First Team three times, to the Cincinnati Girls Golf Conference Second Team once (2018), and to the CGGC First Team twice (2019 and 2020).

She was the first CNEHS golfer, male or female, to qualify for the Districts three times, earning top-25 finishes her final three years. After back-to-back third-place showings at Sectionals in 2018 and 2019, she claimed a runner-up finish in 2020 before turning in a top-10 result at Districts. Stegemann earning nine medalist honors throughout her career, including in seven of her 13 matches as a senior. She also claimed a runner-up finish at the CGGC Championships.

In 2018 and 2019, she placed third individually in the SBAAC standings and earned a second-place showing in 2020. A three-time team MVP Award winner, Stegemann earned Southwest Ohio High School Girls Golf Coaches Association (SWOHSGGCA) First Team Division 2 honors each of her final three years. Additionally, she claimed a spot on the 2019 Greater Cincinnati Northern Kentucky High School Fall All-Star Second Team.

An All-Conference Academic All-Star all four years, she broke the school's nine-hole scoring record two times and the 18-hole scoring record during the 2020 campaign. She was also the SBAAC League medalist for the final 18-hole tournament of the year.

REAGAN STUKE
Hometown: Delafield, Wis.
High School: Kettle Moraine High School

Stuke was a two-sport athlete at Kettle Moraine High School, earning four letters in golf for head coaches John Sams and Andy Stippich in addition to three (so far) in soccer for head coach Rob Lestina. A two-time All-State honoree (2019 and 2020), she claimed Regional Championship honors as an individual in 2020 and was the Sectional Championship runner-up. She also earned All-Conference accolades in both 2019 and 2020.

As a sophomore, Stuke helped lead KMHS to the state title and was instrumental in the team's four Regional championships during her career. The team also claimed Sectional crowns during her sophomore, junior, and senior campaigns, as well as Conference titles in 2018 and 2019. KMHS also won the Waukesha County Championship in 2020.

Blossoming on the links over her first three years, she shaved nearly 24 strokes from her scoring average between her freshman and junior seasons. As a junior, she ranked 10th individually in scoring in the state of Wisconsin in Division I competition. 

During her senior season, she claimed a first-place finish at the WIAA Regional, a second-place showing at the WIAA Sectional, and a top-five ranking at the Waukesha County Championship. Stuke turned in a seventh-place showing at the BCH Invite and also claimed a top-10 finish individually at the WIAA Division I State Tournament.
