COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech women's golf team returns to the links for Eastern Kentucky's Colonel Classic in Richmond, Ky. from Friday, Mar. 30 to Saturday, Mar. 31 at the University Club at Arlington.

COLONEL CLASSIC: 54 holes (36 Friday, 18 Saturday), located at par-72, 5,815-yard University Club at Arlington in Richmond, Ky. Teams will kick off with a 9:30 a.m. CT shotgun start on Friday and 8 a.m. start on Saturday.

GOLDEN EAGLE LINEUP: Competing for the Golden Eagles are sophomore Shelby Johnson, junior Hollee Sadler, freshman Kate Mashburn, junior Lindsay Miller and freshman Isabel York. Competing as an individual is freshman Hannah Bratton.

THE COMPETITION: The 15-team field consists of host Eastern Kentucky, as well as Akron, Austin Peay, Ball State, Belmont, Dayton, Louisiana-Monroe, Northern Kentucky, Oakland, Ohio, Tennessee Tech, Toledo, Western Carolina, Western Kentucky and Xavier.

THOUGHTS FROM COACH BROWN: "The women are definitely ready to get back out there after our tournament up in Sevierville. I'm excited to see how we build on the momentum from our third-place showing last week. We just hope some expected weather won't play too much of a factor this weekend."

WHAT TO WATCH FOR: The Golden Eagles will look to build off the momentum from their third-place finish at the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate last Tuesday. Freshman Isabel York will make her first appearance in the Tech lineup in her career after playing in her collegiate event at the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate.
