THE COMPETITION: The nine-team field consists of host Tennessee Tech, as well as Belmont, Carson-Newman, Dalton State, Evansville, Jacksonville State, Marshall, Radford and Tennessee State. Tennessee will also compete with a trio of individuals.

THOUGHTS FROM COACH BROWN: "It is always an exciting time for our program to host this event and honor the legendary Coach Nichols. We have a lot of good memories in the five years of the event, and we look to build on those this upcoming week. Nearly everyone will be getting the opportunity to compete, which is always a plus. The team is looking forward to Sunday."

WHAT TO WATCH FOR: The Golden Eagles will look to capture the title at the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate for the second time in school history, adding to the championship won in the inaugural event back in 2013. Last season, Tech collected its second straight runner-up finish in Sevierville. Senior Allyson Dunn tied for second place overall after carding a tournament-record 68 in the final round.
