COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Heading into the final event of the fall, the Tennessee Tech women's golf team will look to build off an impressive showing at last week's F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate as the Golden Eagles will take on a 17-team field at Middle Tennessee's Blue Raider Invitational Monday through Tuesday.
The 54-hole tournament will consist of 36 holes on Monday followed by 18 holes on Tuesday at the Old Fort Golf Club in Murfreesboro. Play will kick off with shotgun starts at 8:30 a.m. CT both days on the par-72, 6,389-yard layout. Over 85 individuals on 17 teams will make up the field, including the following:

Junior Maddi Everts has proved to be the hottest golfer in the Ohio Valley Conference as of late, coming off back-to-back All-Tournament and OVC Golfer of the Week honors as well as individual medalist honors at the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate. She will look to lead Tech to its third straight top five finish to conclude the fall season.
"The girls have really had some solid play over the last few weeks, both team wise and individually," head coach Polk Brown said. "With this being the last event of the fall, I look for them to ride that momentum through Murfreesboro. Their confidence is high, and that is paramount to be successful. The weather looks to be ideal and Old Fort is always in great shape. Furthermore, getting to play in MTSU's event is always a great opportunity to play excellent competition. The girls have worked hard all semester. They are ready to contend for another championship."
