2011-12: Played in all five tournaments of the 2011 fall
season, totaling 10 rounds of golf...shot a season-low score of 73
in the first round of the Drake Creek Invitational in
September...finished with an average of 81.8, besting her 2010-11
average by nearly a half-stroke.
2010-11: After her first year at Tech, Amber shows great promise with an average of 82.2...qualified for seven tournaments... played in 16 total rounds..recorded her low round of 73 in the Great Smokies Collegiate tournament during the second round.
HIGH SCHOOL: Amber was a four-year starter on the girls golf team at Anderson County High School...an Honors student, she was the first player from her school to earn first-team all-state honors, capturing that distinction as a sophomore...she repeated her first-team all-state honors as a junior and won the same honor for the third consecutive year...in her sophomore season, she was the team's Player of the Year, placing second in the district, third in the region and sixth in the state tournament.
