TTU women's basketball at Vandy to be televised on SEC Network, COVID guidelines in place at Memorial Gym

NASHVILLE – For fans not making the trip to Nashville to see the Tennessee Tech women's basketball team take on Vanderbilt tonight, they'll be able to watch the game from the comfort of their own home.

Tonight's game vs. the Commodores will be nationally broadcast on SEC Network, tipping off at 6 p.m. Eric Frede and Christy Thomaskutty will handle the broadcast duties for the ESPN affiliate, while fans can also listen to the Tech broadcast with Dylan Vazzano on the call on 106.1 The Eagle or online here.

It's the first of two currently scheduled national broadcasts for the Tech women, who will also have its January 20th home game against SIUE televised on ESPNU.

For fans attending the game tonight, Memorial Gym does have several guidelines in place.

  • All attendees ages 12 and older will have the option to present either proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test administered within 72 hours prior to the event or proof of full COVID-19 vaccination to enter. Children ages 11 and younger are not required to do so.
  • Backpacks and other large bags – larger than 8.5" x 11" – are not allowed inside the facility.
  • The following items are not allowed: alcohol, animals, backpacks, bags/purses larger than 8.5" x 11", banners/flags/signs, cameras, noisemakers, selfie sticks, strollers, tobacco, umbrellas, video recorders or weapons.
