Tech women's basketball to host Biscuits and Basketball, Maintain the Tradition events on Oct. 30

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Fans will get an early look at the 2021-22 Tennessee Tech women's team on Saturday, Oct. 30, as the Golden Eagles will host a day of preseason events with Biscuits and Basketball, followed by the Maintain the Tradition fundraiser.

The events are open to the public.

The day begins as the Eblen Center doors open at 8:30 a.m., then the Tech women will hold an open practice between 8:45 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. Following the practice session, fans will get to meet with and get autographs from members of the Golden Eagle squad until 10 a.m.

Chik-fil-a biscuits and beverages will be provided but supplies will be limited on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Starting at 10 a.m. until noon, the team will hold its Maintain the Tradition free-throw shooting fundraiser. Fans can pledge an amount of money for each free throw made for a specific player. The pledge sheet can be found here.

The Tech women host Christian Brothers on October 28th in an exhibition contest as part of the Purple Palooza event, then open the regular season on November 9 against Bethel.
