COOKEVILLE, Tenn. - Tennessee Tech junior guard Kesha Brady has been named the Tennessee Sports Writers Association (TSWA) Player of the Week after a pair of impressive performances against SIUE and Eastern Illinois.

Brady led the Golden Eagles to a pair of double-digit victories, tallying her fourth and fifth 20-plus point games of the season against SIUE and Eastern Illinois.

Brady opened the weekend with the second-best performance of her career, scoring 28 points, shooting 63 percent (10-of-16) from the field, 50 percent (4-of-8) from 3-point range, and 80 percent (4-of-5) from the line. She also grabbed four rebounds, dished out three assists, garnered two steals, and blocked a shot against the Cougars.

She followed it up with another remarkable performance against EIU, netting 20 points, shooting 36 percent (4-of-11) from the field, 67 percent (4-of-6) from long-range, and 89 percent (8-of-9) from the free throw line. She also added five boards, five assists, and a pair of steals in the win.

Brady ranks fifth in the OVC in scoring this season, averaging 15.8 points per game. She also ranks tied for eighth in made 3-point field goals (1.8), 9th in offensive rebounds per game (2.5), 10th in 3-point field goal percentage (.380), and 12th in free throw percentage (.718).

The Golden Eagles return home this week as they welcome Morehead State on Thursday, Jan. 23 and Eastern Kentucky on Saturday, Jan. 25.
