In 2010-11 (Junior): Brittany was one of four Golden Eagles to start in all 31 games…recorded five double-doubles…posted career highs in points (20) and rebounds (15) in Tech’s win against Morehead State (2/5)…named the OVC Newcomer of the Week seven times…tallied 13 points and 10 rebounds against Drake (12/11) including the game winning shot as time expired…finished second on the team in rebounds with 192…led the team in blocks with 29.
Owens Community College: During her two seasons
at Owens, Darling averaged 10.9 points, 9.6 rebounds and 3.1 block
shots per game for the Express…this past season, Darling
averaged 13.6 points and ranked 20th nationally in rebounds,
averaging 11 per game…earned first-team OCCAC all-conference
honors and was named the team’s co-MVP…holds the
school records for most rebounds in a single game (22) and blocks
in a season (127).
