Roberts ends Tech's weekend with two more program records

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Tennessee Tech closed out its penultimate weekend of regular-season meets at the Virginia Challenge and Georgia Tech Invitational.

Heptathlete Khemani Roberts ended her visit to Charlottesville on a tear, adding two more school records on Saturday to bring her total for the weekend to three. She put up a record in the long jump with a mark of 5.88m/19'3½", passing teammate Sharnique Leonce's record of 5.68m/18'7.75" from March 2017. She also set a new record in the overall heptathlon with a total of 5,353 points.

In Atlanta, Na'Asha Robinson matched her season-best in the 400m dash with a time of 53.04. She finished third in both the 400m and 200m dashes.
