CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Tennessee Tech track & field splits off this weekend for a pair of out-of-state meets in Virginia and Georgia.
Four student-athletes will head off to the Virginia Challenge in Charlottesville, Virginia, while sprinter Na'Asha Robinson travels to the Georgia Tech Invitational in Atlanta.
Tech will focus on multis and distance at the Virginia Challenge, sending heptathletes Khemani Roberts and Eshe Robinson and distance specialists Micayla Rennick and Purity Sanga.
The Golden Eagles have not competed in the heptathlon or 10k yet this season.
Na'Asha Robinson will look to improve her 100m and 200m dash times in Atlanta and will run the 400m for the first time this outdoor season. She currently leads the conference in the 200m dash, which helped her repeat as this week's adidas® OVC Female Track Athlete of the Week, and ranks fourth in the 100m dash.
