Robinson named adidas® OVC Female Track Athlete of the Week

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Na'Asha Robinson has been named the adidas® OVC Female Track Athlete of the Week, as announced by the Ohio Valley Conference on Wednesday in its latest weekly report of the 2017-18 outdoor season.

Robinson takes home the honor for the second-straight week after her races last Friday at the Austin Peay Governors Invitational in Clarksville, Tennessee. She took first in the 200m dash with an OVC-leading time of 23.43 and anchored the winning 4x100m relay alongside teammates Ceirra Tate, Lisa Wickham and D'Airrien Jackson. Their time of 46.04 ranks second in the conference.

Robinson's 200m dash time also ranks 37th-fastest in the NCAA Division I East and is tied for 64th-fastest in the country, while Tech's 4x100m relay squad is 81st-fastest in the East.

The list of female OVC weekly honor recipients for April 18 is as follows:
Track Athlete of the Week – Na'Asha Robinson, Tennessee Tech
Field Athlete of the Week – Brittany Cook, Jacksonville State
 
Tech will split off for this weekend's meets, traveling to both the Virginia Challenge in Charlottesville, Virginia, and the Georgia Tech Invitational in Atlanta, Georgia.
