BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – D'Airrien Jackson has been named the adidas® OVC Female Track Athlete of the Week for the second time this season, as announced by the Ohio Valley Conference on Wednesday in its latest weekly report of the 2017-18 indoor season.

USTFCCCA South Region ninth-ranked Tennessee Tech appeared at the invitation-only Tyson Invitational last weekend at Arkansas, where Jackson raced in both the 200m and 400m dashes.

The junior placed sixth in the 400m dash invitational with a career-best time of 52.84, breaking the previous Tech school record of 53.20. The time ranks first in the OVC and 12th in NCAA Division I indoor track, and it also ranked among the top 10 times in the event from Feb. 5-11.
