NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Tennessee Tech opened the Meyo Invitational on Friday, Feb. 2 at Notre Dame with three times that clinched semifinal qualifying spots for the Golden Eagles.
Sharnique Leonce qualified for the 60m hurdles semifinals tomorrow morning, while Lisa Wickham and Ceirra Tate earned spots in the 60m dash semifinals. The finals will be run later in the afternoon should the three advance.
Four other Tech marks placed in the top five of their respective events: Sharnique Leonce's and Khemani Roberts' 1.69m in the high jump and Tech's fourth-place finish in the distance medley relay.
Tech resumes the meet on Saturday morning.
