Antonia is a strong and talented thrower who hails from Croatia, and is a transfer to Tennessee Tech after throwing her first two collegiate years at Western Kentucky University...with collegiate and international experience, she can immediately challenge for both school and conference records.

Coach Angel on Antonia: Antonia brings a wealth of international experience. She is a veteran in the javelin who has competed internationally as well as in the Sun Belt and Conference USA. She will provide immediate scoring for Tech in the javelin at the OVC championships.

BEFORE TECH: Antonia was a bronze medalist in the javelin at the Conference USA Championships in 2015, and owns a personal-best throw of 139 feet (42.36m), a mark she achieved at the Kentucky Relays (April 19, 2014) as a freshman...also had a toss of 138' 9" a week later at the Arkansas State Red Wolf Open...her best javelin toss as a sophomore came with a third-place finish at the C-USA meet (May 17) meet at 136' 8"

HIGH SCHOOL: Antonia was a standout for the track team in her high school, ranking second in the country in the shot put...helped her 4x100m relay team rank second in the nation...earned a spot on her national team.

PERSONAL: The daughter of Ante and Bozenka Susnjar...born July 22, 1994 in Split, Croatia...majoring in molecular biology.
