Tina is a versatile and talented athlete...was expecting to compete in the pentathlon (indoor) and heptathlon (outdors) in 2014-15, but injury sidelined her as a freshman...could compete in a variety of events as a sophomore....an Honors student throughout high school, she is enrolled in the Honors program at Tech while also serving on the Student Govermnment Association (SGA).
AT TECH (IN 2014-15): Tina opened the year competing in four events during the indoor season, and saw plenty of action in the first three meets of the schedule...an injury, however, sidelined her for the remainder of the spring...had a PR of 2:37.46 in the 800m...twice ran the 60-m hurdles, with a PR of 9.89 seconds at Vanderbilt...had one successful high jump, clearing 4-feet, 8.5 inches at UAB...competed all three meets in long jump, with a PR of 15-feet, 8.25 inches at Vandy.
HIGH SCHOOL: Member of the cross country and track & field teams for all four years during her time at Huntley (Ill.) High School, and also a two-year member of the basketball team...helped set school records in the 4x100 and 4x200 relays...competed in sprints, jumps and relays...was the county 400m champion...ran a PR of :59.20 in the 400m.
PERSONAL: The daughter of Brian Driscoll and Christine Driscoll...majoring in international business and cultures...born Sept. 4, 1995 in Elgin, Ill...full name is Christina Marie Driscoll.
