AT TECH (In 2011-12): Amelia ran in all seven cross country meets in 2011, finishing as high as third on the team..ran a personal best 5K time of 19:56 at Jacksonville State and was Tech's third finisher...lowered her time in each of her first four meets...was Tech's fifth finisher at the NCAA South Regional with a 6K time of 25:11.

(In 2010-11): Amelia ran in all seven meets the Golden Eagles participated in during the fall cross country season...ran several really strong meets...placed second on the squad in the opening meet at Sewanee and closed the season by placing second at the NCAA South Regionals...set her career-best time of 20:09.29 at Evansville...competed in the 3000m, 5000m, and 10,000m in track and field...posted a season-best time of 11:39 in the 3000m at Vanderbilt.

HIGH SCHOOL: Amelia competed in her prep career at Cumberland County High School in nearby Crossville...lettered four seasons in cross country and three seasons in track for coaches Pat Koehl and Louie DeLorenzo...named MVP for the Jets' cross-country squad all four years, and also named MVP of the track team, all section, in her freshman through junior seasons...also an achiever in the classroom.
