Beth competed solidly on the course in her cross country debut during the 2010 season...is a second-year student at Tech and was a member of the 2010 Golden Eagle softball team before deciding to compete for the Golden Eagles in cross country and track...brings a winning attitude of perserverance and hard work into competition...also a strong achiever in academics.

AT TECH - (2010-11): The fall season brought Beth's debut, as she did not participate on a cross country squad prior to this season...showed steady improvement throughout the season...after placing sixth on the team in the opening meet at Sewanee, she improved each meet to place third at Evansville with her career-best time of 20:00.80...placed fourth on the team at the OVC Championships.

HIGH SCHOOL: Beth was a two-sport letter winner at Watertown High School and no longer plays either sport...lettered three seasons in softball as a pitcher and outfielder for coach Patty Jansen...also lettered three seasons in volleyball as a defensive specialist for coach Travis Hall...stellar in the classroom and won numerous academic awards...earned the WIAA Scholar Athlete award and the WHS Academic Excellence Award...graduated as the salutatorian of her class.
