COOKEVILLE, Tenn. - Due to unplayable field conditions caused by ongoing rainstorms Tuesday and into Wednesday morning, today's softball game between Tennessee Tech and Northern Iowa has been cancelled.
The Golden Eagles will return to action on Friday, heading to Spartanburg, S.C. for the Wings Etc. Classic hosted by USC Upstate. Tech will square off with Pitt at 10:00 a.m. CT and against the host Spartans at noon. The purple and gold will then face Pitt again on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. before taking on Cleveland State at 2:00 p.m. A noon contest on Sunday against USC Upstate will wrap up the action.
