Championship Softball pitching/catching clinic, mini camp set for Aug. 23, Aug. 24-25

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Athletes between the age of 13 and the high school senior grade level who want to improve their softball skills will soon get the opportunity as Championship Softball Camps will host its Pitching and Catching Clinic on Aug. 23 and its Mini Camp on Aug. 24 and 25.

The camp and clinic will feature instruction from Tennessee Tech head coach Bonnie Graham along with assistant coaches Carly Van Auken and Megan Mihaliak, as well as current members of the Golden Eagle softball team.

Instruction will include aspects of the game such as hitting, bunting, base running, fielding, slap hitting, the mental game, throwing and strength and spring training.

Campers should bring their glove, cleats, tennis shoes and turfs, water bottle, lunch and enthusiasm.

The cost of the mini camp is $150 on or before August 18, after which it increases to $175. The pitching/catching clinic is $75 on or before August 18, $100 afterwards.

Family and team discounts are available – a 10-percent team discount with five or more players, as well as a 10-percent family discount for each additional family member. Only one discount can be used per player.
