COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The snow and dreary weather conditions have reared their ugly ahead again, forcing the cancellation of the Tennessee Tech softball team's weekend tournament in Chattanooga.
The Golden Eagles (6-7) were scheduled to play five games as part of the Frost Classic, with matchups against No. 10 Kentucky and Ohio slated for Friday, South Dakota State and Alabama A&M on Saturday, and Purdue to round out the weekend on Sunday.
Tech will now set its sights on its first non-tournament action of the season, traveling to Lipscomb Thursday, Mar. 5 for a 3 p.m. CST showdown with the Bisons.
