Championship Softball Summer Mini Camp just around the corner

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- The sun is shinning, and the heat is rising from the dirt, which means only one thing: The Championship Softball Summer Mini Camp is right around the corner. Tennessee Tech softball head coach Bonnie Bynum will host a mini-camp and a pitching and catching clinic the week of June 17-19.

The Mini Camp and Clinic will feature Bynum along with current and former Golden Eagle softball team members. The camp staff also features head and assistant coaches from several other Division I, Division II, NAIA and Junior Colleges.

The Mini Camp is designed to allow players to gain valuable knowledge, skills and an opportunity to be evaluated at the collegiate level. Players will be instructed individually and in small group work to develop skills for athletes of all ages.

The Pitching and Catching Clinc is Monday, June 17, from 1 to 4 p.m. Registration begins at 12:30 p.m.

The Mini Camp is a two-day program, beginning June 18 at 9 a.m. The cost of the camp is $70, with discounts for family and Tech employees.
