2022 (Sophomore): McCaul took part in all six of Tech's events on the year… led the Golden Eagles in each of the team's first five meets and earned a runner-up showing among the team in the final event… registered a PR in the 8K at the Live in Lou Classic (Oct. 1) behind a time of 24:32.4… also locked down a new personal best in the 10K, clocking in at 31:34.9 at the NCAA South Regionals (Nov. 11)… earned a second-place performance overall at the Golden Eagle Invitational (Sept. 16) with a time of 25:45.3 and paced the field for his first collegiate win at the Chattanooga Invitational (Oct. 14) with a time of 24:42.8… delivered a fifth-place finish at the OVC Championships (Oct. 29), clocking in at 25:18.9.
2021 (Freshman): McCaul competed in all six of the team's meets during the fall… finished as Tech's runner-up in five races and led the Golden Eagles once… made his collegiate debut with an 8K time of 26:10.04 at the Covered Bridge Open (Sept. 3)… set a PR in the 8K with a time of 24:48.2 at the Live in Lou Classic (Oct. 2)… paced the purple and gold and finished third overall with an 8K of 26:00.1 at the Golden Eagle Invitational (Oct. 15)… picked up a top-15 finish at the OVC Championships (Oct. 30), clocking in an 8K of 25:28.9… posted a personal-best time of 31:46.63 in the 10K at the NCAA South Regionals (Nov. 12).
