Location: Miller Memorial Golf Course | Murray, Ky.
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Tech cross country will participate in its fourth and final meet of the regular season Friday as they compete in the Murray State Open on Friday, October 18 at the Miller Memorial Golf Course. The race serves as the last primer before the OVC Championships.
The women's 5K will begin at 4 p.m., followed by the men's 8K at 4:30 p.m.
The Golden Eagles are coming off their best performance of the season at the Upstate Invitational. The women's team claimed the team title with three runners placing in the top-10 and the final two scorers coming in 13th and 15. Tech's men's team had three top-15 finishers during their race.
The Field
The Murray State Open field consists of host Murray State, Austin Peay, UT Martin, and Bethel.
Running for Anna Cooper
The Golden Eagles are wearing a purple ribbon in each of their races this season to celebrate the memory of former Golden Eagle Anna Cooper, who passed away from a battle with cancer in June. The purple color is used to represent rare forms of cancer.

Following this weekend's race, the Golden Eagles will begin postseason prep as they prepare for the OVC Championships on Nov. 2 in Edwardsville, Illinois.
