CLINTON, S.C. – The Tennessee Tech tennis team dropped its middle match of a three-contest stretch in three days, as the Golden Eagles fell 7-0 at Presbyterian Saturday afternoon.

The Blue Hose (4-6) capitalized on Tech having only four available Golden Eagles, with TTU forced to forfeit a pair of singles clashes as well as a double matchup on the day. Presbyterian carded automatic wins in the No. 5 and No. 6 positions during singles play and captured the other remaining tangles to push its way to the victory.

The top two slots swung straight sets, with Dusan Milanovic picking up a 6-2, 6-1 nod over Mika Berghaus in the No. 1 spot, while Max Benson registered a 6-4, 6-4 decision against Evzen Holis in the No. 2 battle. The other two singles duals finished in three sets, with Sebastian Dominguez notching a 4-6, 6-4, 11-9 triumph over Elias Grubert and Denim Yadav collecting a 4-6, 6-2, 11-9 win against Paulo Ramos Martin in the No. 4 matchup.

The Golden Eagles (0-6) kickstarted the day with a pair of losses in doubles play to drop the tandem point. The Tech duo of Mika Berghaus and Elias Grubert was upended 6-3 by Max Benson and Dusan Milanovic in the No. 1 clash and Evzen Holis and Paulo Ramos Martin dropped a 6-1 decision to Javier Matos and Sebastian Dominguez in the No. 2 meeting.

The Golden Eagles will wrap up their busy weekend with a Sunday get-together at Furman. First serve with the Paladins is set for 1 p.m. CT.
