LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – Rain has washed away the Tennessee Tech tennis team's Tuesday tilt at Georgia Gwinnett, cancelling TTU's first match in the month of March.
The Golden Eagles are still slated to clash with Winthrop Thursday morning, now the only contest in Tech's mid-week road trip. First serve from the Rock Hill Tennis Center is scheduled for 11 a.m. CT.
Tech was last in action for three-straight tilts in Louisiana, Feb. 23-24, tangling with the host Ragin Cajuns, East Carolina and Texas A&M Corpus Christi. Winthrop is coming off back-to-back, 5-2, victories over Gardner-Webb on Saturday and UNC Asheville on Sunday.
