Tech tennis reschedules Saturday’s home opener with Chattanooga

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Impending rainfall and troublesome weather has forced the Tennessee Tech tennis team to reschedule Saturday's match against Chattanooga. Slated to host the Mocs in the 2018 home opener at noon, the Golden Eagles have moved the tilt to Sunday, Apr. 1 at 1 p.m. CT.

Tech is still set to travel to Johnson City, Tenn. for its scheduled match with ETSU on Sunday at 10 a.m. CT. TTU's next affair in Cookeville, which will now serve as the home opener, is on the books for Friday, Mar. 23 against Austin Peay.

The Apr. 1 match with Chattanooga will be the second home contest of that weekend. TTU will square off with Eastern Kentucky at Tech Tennis Courts on Saturday, Mar. 31.

Admission to all regular season home matches is free of charge.

The Golden Eagles have won two in a row with victories at UNC Asheville (Feb. 4) and at Lipscomb (Feb. 10).
