COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – It will be nearly a full house of Tennessee Tech tennis players to take aim in the squad's upcoming weekend tournament, with five Golden Eagles ready for their shot in the Louisville Fall Invitational. The three-day event features three flights of singles and doubles and will be played on the indoor and outdoor courts at Base-Rudd Tennis Center.

The tournament begins Friday morning with doubles play, scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. CT. Singles play also starts Friday and features a consolation bracket as well. Admission to the event is free of charge.

The Tech tandem of Jorge Alfonzo and Arthur Justo will square off with Butler's Michael Dickson and Mason Dragos in the first round of flight A doubles play. The winner will see the victor of Xavier's Gabriel Araujo and Jack Dykema and MTSU's Nicolas Buitrago Machado and Jan Porteset in the second round.

The other TTU duo of Marc Mila and Wenceslao Albin will hook up with Xavier's Alejandro Rodriguez-Vidal and Brett Winthers as part of flight B doubles action. The prevailing tandem will then clash with the winner of Butler's Aviv Ben Shabat and Ari Gerstein and DePaul's Alex Galoustian and Conor O'Meara in the second round.

As far as single's play is concerned, Arthur Justo will go up against Butler's Aviv Ben Shabat in the first round of flight A singles play. The winner will see the victor of MTSU's Nicolas Bultrago and Xavier's Jan Vrba in the following round.

Jorge Alfonzo is also part of flight A singles action and is ready to take on Toledo's Luka Vitosevic for his first round battle. Should Alfonzo come out on top, the 5-foot-9 senior will take on the winner of Butler's Michael Dickson and Ball State's Nemanja Guzina for the next round.

Gonzalo Garcia rounds out Tech's trio in flight A, with the 6-foot-3 freshman drawing DePaul's Boris Spanjaard for his first round opponent. The victor will greet the winner of Kentucky's Jake Stefanik and Cleveland State's Matthew Terry in the second round.

The Golden Eagles have two players in flight B. Marc Mila will connect with Butler's Lope Adelakun for the Tech sophomore's first round showdown, with the winner scheduled to lock up against the victor of Depaul's Luuk Wassenaar and Wright State's Param Pun.

Wenceslao Albin will take on Butler's Adrian Mag in his first round matchup out of flight B. Should Albin prevail, the Salliquelo, Argentina native will get the opportunity to square off with the winner of Toledo's Reid Teatsorth and Xavier's Alejando Rodriguez-Vidal.

Following an impressive showing in the ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa, Okla., that saw Eduardo Mena reach the quarterfinals, the two-time OVC Player of the Year will not be in action in the weekend's tournament in Louisville.
